The second blog I would like to highlight in my inspirational series is one from Jamie Schler. And it is called Life’s a Feast. Let’s face it, the title alone would make you want to go and have a look right?
Jamie is an American living in France, with a passion for writing. I think Jamie’s blog stands out from the crowd by her use of the written word which is elegant and has a unique style to it. Reading her blog brings you back to whatever time or era she is describing and the pictures Jamie uses to illustrate her posts are funny and beautiful. I have no idea where she finds all those beautiful old photographs but it is also part of her unique style.

And let’s not forget the beautiful dishes she creates. Her baking is out of this world delicious (I know, I’ve tested quite a few myself!) and I can highly recommend you make some of them. (or all if you want to!)
Jamie herself I met for the first time also during Plate to Page in 2011 and her personality is as warm and wonderful as her blog is. She is one of the writing instructors together with Jeanne from Cooksister.com (whom I will feature some other time, no doubt!) I sure hope we will meet again someday soon and in the meantime I will keep on enjoying her blog.
