I can’t believe it’s almost the end of 2012. It does seem that the older we get the faster time flies, don’t you think so too?
2012 has been an interesting year. Not always in a positive way although many good things happened too. Professionally it was a good year with lots of new customers and especially considering I gave up weddings this year for the first time, it’s been a really good year.
On a more personal level I could have done better I think. I’ve struggled at times with the fact that working for yourself can get lonely and I have to find a better way to deal with that. As well as getting myself fit and healthier. So that’s one of my goals for next year. And a big one too. I’m sure I will tell you all about it as time progresses. ( and you’d probably wish I had never started… Lol)
I don’t really do New Years resolutions although I just told you two of them. Haha. But that’s just because the end of the year always seems to be the perfect time for reflection on how things went. Did goals get achieved and so on. So in a way it makes sense. I like to call them my new goals rather then resolutions. And new goals have to be set every year so that’s all good!
How about you?
Are you getting ready for the new year? Do you have any goals lined up or things you definitely want to do in a different way next year?

Dear Simone,
The advantage of this is that mostly my goals are independent from the beginning of a new year. With one of my goals I already have started these weeks by practicing more regularly yoga again, so it is also the story of living more healthy I try to pay more attention on. Let’s see how it will work
somehow I am never been ready for a new year, but that’s absolutely ok
Wish you all the best for 2013!! Eva
Thanks so much Eva and wishing you a wonderful 2013 too!
I think for me I want to learn contentment and peace this upcoming year. I’m turning 30 and would like to embrace a new wisdom that will (hopefully) come with that. I think that a shift in my inner core beliefs and thoughts regarding work, school, people, relationships…etc…will also help lead to a healthier life-style….lovely post
Thanks so much Jenni. Awesome age 30…:)
